Bring your Enthusiasm - No Experience Required
You won’t have to write much (or anything) but together, with lots of laughs, we will create a unique character who will come alive in my terrible drawing. And then we’ll send The Three Little Pigs on a whole new adventure.
About Katharine
Katharine and her husband live in Longridge. She taught in various schools, as well as for the National Teaching and Advisory Service. She recently retired as the Manager of Safe Families for Lancashire. She has written books for adults, teens and junior aged children, selling in mainstream bookstores, as well as her favourite place – on the market at Preston Station.
The Froggitt Chain is so original, very unusual and very funny. I laughed out loud in places. It’s intensely moving. The characters are lively and interesting, each one being introduced as a loner, and at first I wondered how they might be connected. Suddenly the book picks up pace and from halfway through I couldn't put the book down because I needed to know how it would end. And the end is very satisfying. The Froggitt Chain represents a chain that Peter took off a dead man and kept... symbolic of the burden of his childhood. And the chain also represents the brokenness of his family tree - but I had better not give anything away. Loved it and will read it again.
