This group will meet for lunch and a talk at a restaurant, pub, teahouse, member’s home, park etc., with a short talk about anything to do with the food that day: the ingredients, history, culture, the venue etc. The talk can be given by the member hosting that day or the owner of the restaurant/pub etc., short and sweet – 15 minutes maximum.
Members who sign up must lead/host one session i.e. arrange the talk to be given and the lunch venue. The convenor will contact the group members by email each month to advise the venue. Members pay for their own lunch or if at a member’s house, the cost of the lunch ingredients etc to be split.
