The (Intrepid) Bus Pass Explorers Group

Fancy a day out but don’t want to go on your own?

We are a cheerful bunch who enjoy the journey as much as the destination. Recently formed, we have made trips to Clitheroe, Morecambe, Lytham and Garstang. The only constraints are the time, the length of the day and how we feel!

We take it in turns to offer to choose a destination and share details of bus time on the group What’s App. It is very flexible with the day and date chosen by the organizer to reflect things such as special event such as the Vintage Festival in Morecambe or market day.

Once we arrive, we disperse to do whatever we want to, sometimes meeting up again over coffee or lunch. Sometimes the organizer of the trip arranges specific options such as the recent History tour of Ribchester, a visit to Lytham Hall or suggests a specific place to meet for lunch

Obviously you are welcome if you don’t have a bus pass, it just means you would have to pay the fare!
